Wild Salt river horse's

These beautiful horses run wild and free in Arizona. It's truly amazing to go see them and see them interact with each other. Always drama at the river.

Bromance

These two bachelors we've named bromance are always together. They lookout into the desert as the last bit of light fades.

Bromance

I captured a cool head shot at sunset with the pink mountains in the background.

Coming in hot

They made a big entrance as they came in from the desert.

New beginnings

Earlier this year Raven got caught on the wrong side of the fence and had to be rescued. After the incident she joined a new band.

Meet Coyote

What a unique marking this guy has. His marking looks like a coyote howling hence his name.

Cheese!

Lorian and Tilly smiled nicely for me!

Meet Aragorn

This beautiful gray guy takes a awesome close up while his buddies are having a dispute in the background.

Beauty

Meet Biff he's the lead stallion of his band. He's a poky one tho. His mare Tilly usually tells him when it's time to go.

I love my Mommy

The bond between mother and son is beautiful to capture. Lorian never strays far from his mom.

Multi-colored

I found this guy farther down the salt river in a beautiful spot. What makes him unique is one blue eye and one brown.

Family

The family ties are strong in a band. They watched each others backs as the little guy tried to take a nap.

Multi-colored

Here's a different shot of the beautiful blue/brown eyed stallion. The wind made for some amazing pictures right before sunset.

Lady and the tramp

The lead stallion and mare enjoy eel grass just like the famous Disney movie.

Eel grass is on the menu!

The mother pulls up the eel grass off the bottom of the river as the son sticks his face out waiting for more.

Golden hour

As the sun is about to set over the mountains this mare makes her way across the river to disappear into the desert.

The Gray Dabble

The sun hits his mane at sunset to create beautiful shadows.

Love is in the air

The Gray dabble has won his first mare. I photographed him back in February in a bachelor band. Congrats to this guy!

What you doing?!

Mother and son enjoying the last bit of eel grass as the sun sets over the mountains.

Glowing

Right as the sun was setting I photographer this horse looking down the salt river.

Swish

I captured this horse farther down the salt river with beautiful mountain views surrounding us.

Bromance

These two bachelors were enjoying their time together on river.
